About the Role
A reputable Lounge and Hotel in Lagos is urgently seeking a diligent and reliable Laundry Attendant to join its housekeeping team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, uniforms, and guest items are properly cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest hospitality standards. This position requires attention to detail, time management, and commitment to cleanliness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, uniforms, and guest laundry.
Operate and maintain washing, drying, and pressing machines safely.
Ensure all laundry is handled with care and delivered promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laundry area.
Track laundry inventory and report shortages or damaged items.
Follow safety and hygiene protocols in line with hotel policies.
Support other housekeeping staff when required.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience as a Laundry Attendant in a hotel or hospitality setting is an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Physically fit and capable of handling laundry operations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
