Reports To: HR Manager / Head of HR

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant with at least 2 years of HR experience to support our growing HR team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day HR operations, including performance management, talent development, HR analytics, and employee relations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to HR strategy within the oil, construction, or related sectors while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic work environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support in HR operations, including maintaining employee records and HR databases.

Assist with recruitment processes such as job postings, CV screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.

Support performance management initiatives, including appraisals, training, and career development programs.

Contribute to HR reporting and analytics to track workforce trends and provide insights.

Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Provide first-line support to staff regarding HR-related inquiries.

Coordinate employee engagement and welfare activities.

Ensure proper use of HRIS and maintain up-to-date information.

Support the HR team in any other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in an HR role, preferably in the oil, construction, or related industries.

Good knowledge of performance management, talent development, and HR analytics.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism.

Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.

CIPM or any recognized HR certification is an added advantage.
