About the Role
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Kitchen Assistant to join a reputable lounge and hotel. The ideal candidate will support the kitchen team in food preparation, organization, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
Assist chefs and kitchen staff in preparing meals and ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, utensils, and work surfaces.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items.
Support in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies.
Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Assist in setting up meal stations and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
Prior experience in a hotel, lounge, or restaurant kitchen is an advantage.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
