Job Summary:
The Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a department or business unit, ensuring that goals and targets are met. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating resources, making strategic decisions, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations aligned with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, direct, and coordinate operational activities to achieve business objectives.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and support.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and customer service.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare and present regular performance and progress reports to senior management.
• Resolve operational issues and handle escalated customer or staff concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments for smooth interdepartmental coordination.
• Identify training needs and support employee development initiatives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role (typically 3+ years).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and management software/tools.
• Knowledge of budgeting, performance evaluation, and business operations.
